Crediting

To ensure proper credit is given to the original artist, all posts containing artwork not created by the user must include proper credit in the form of a direct link to the original creator. Failure to do so will result in the post being disabled. This policy applies to all types of posts, including chats. All art not created by the poster must be credited. This includes bases, doll makers, dress up games, and character creator games.“Credit to the owner “ or “ Not my drawing “ are not considered proper credit.Reupload sites like Pinterest do not count as proper credit, nor does Google. Proper credit should be given by providing a link to the artist’s social media account. In the event that the artist cannot be identified, users are encouraged to use reverse image search engines such as Labnol or Tineye to locate the artist. If an artist has explicitly stated that they do not allow reposts of their work, those posts are not permitted here and will be removed. Respecting artists’ wishes is a priority, and ignoring their stated boundaries will be treated as a violation of community guidelines.

Proof & Bases

All posted art content, including drawings, cosplays, edits, and other creations, must include proof within the post itself. Proof cannot be in the comments or another post. Watermarks are allowed to protect your work.
For digital art, proof should show at least three visible layers or all layers if fewer exist, highlighting stages such as sketches, line art, base colors, and shading or details. For traditional art, provide at least three progress photos showing early sketches, mid-stage development, and the finished piece. Including a real-world object, such as your hand, pencil, or workspace, is encouraged.
Valid proof
• Progress shots showing different stages of your work, from sketches to the finished piece
• Screenshots of visible layers for digital art that demonstrate the creation process
• Uncut process videos uploaded to Amino, Google Drive, or YouTube
• Including real-world objects in traditional art photos, such as your hand, pencil, or workspace
Invalid proof
• Showing only sketches or only line art without other stages
• Screenshots that include only a single layer of the artwork
• Cropped or edited progress videos that do not show the full process
• Using signatures or watermarks as proof
Bases are unfinished artworks meant to serve as a starting point for your own creations. When using a base, the original layer must remain intact and the creator must be properly credited with a direct link to their work. Only free-to-use bases or paid bases with proof of purchase, such as receipts or invoices, are allowed. While the base’s sketch layer is not required, all other proof rules still apply if staff requests additional proof.Respecting the original creator’s rights is mandatory. Using bases without permission or without proper credit can result in the post being removed and may lead to further action. Posts without proper proof will be disabled unless the poster has a Verified title. Verified members do not need to provide proof for each post. Staff may request additional proof if there is any question about originality.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited in this community. All content, including art, writing, edits, and other creative works, must be your own original work or shared with proper. Claiming someone else’s work as your own, copying without permission, or making minimal changes to someone else’s content and presenting it as original will be considered plagiarism and is not allowed.1. Verbatim Plagiarism
Verbatim plagiarism occurs when text is copied directly from a source without giving proper credit. Using small quotes or references is allowed, but large sections of copied content passed off as your own are not permitted. If you use verbatim content:
• You must include proper credit and clearly indicate quoted text using quotation marks.
• The majority of your content must be your own writing, with the copied content only supplementing your work.
• Failure to credit or indicate quotes may result in moderation actions, including content removal or warnings.
2. Paraphrasing
Paraphrasing means expressing the ideas of a source in your own words. This is allowed in our community as long as:
• The content is written in your own words, not copied and lightly edited.
• Proper credit is given if the idea is sourced from someone else.
• Direct sentences or paragraphs taken from outside sources without credit will be treated as plagiarism and may result in moderation actions.
3. Copy-and-Paste Content
Copying and pasting content from an outside source without proper credit is strictly prohibited. This includes text, dialogue, or any written material. Guidelines for using copied material responsibly:
• Always include quotation marks for copied text.
• Always provide proper sourcing or links to the original content.
• Less than half of the content in your post may be copied from outside sources.
If these rules are not followed, your content may be disabled, and you may receive a verbal warning or further moderation action depending on severity or repeated offenses. All cases of copy-paste plagiarism are taken seriously and may result in stricter consequences.

Commissions

Commission posts are allowed in this community, but they come with specific requirements depending on the type of commission. Coin commissions, which use Amino coins as payment, may only be posted by members who hold the Verified Artist title. This ensures that anyone offering coin commissions has already gone through the verification process and proven their ownership of their artwork. For Real World Currency (RWC) commissions, which involve payments through external services such as PayPal or other money transfer platforms, members are required to hold the Artisan title. Because RWC commissions involve real money outside of Amino, the Artisan title serves as an additional layer of accountability and trust between artists and customers.

Original Characters (OCs)

An Original Character (OC) is a character that you create entirely yourself. This includes their appearance, personality, backstory, abilities, and other defining traits. OCs are meant to showcase your creativity and originality within the community.A canon character is a character that already exists within an established story, game, or franchise. You cannot turn a canon character into an OC because the concept, design, and personality of the character were created by someone else. Making small modifications or giving a “different spin” on a canon character does not make it original; this is considered creating an Alternate Universe (AU) version rather than an OC. This rule applies to canon characters from any fandom, including video games, anime, movies, TV shows, and books. All OCs shared in this community must be represented with the member’s own original artwork. Posts containing another artist’s work without permission will be disabled. The only exception is the use of character creation apps, which may be used as long as proper credit is provided to the app or creator. If you notice a post that appears to use another artist’s work without permission or credit, please send a private message to a Leader or Curator so staff can review and take appropriate action.Members are encouraged to clearly distinguish between OCs and AU versions of canon characters. While AU content is allowed, it must be labeled appropriately and cannot be claimed as original. This ensures clarity, respects the work of original creators, and encourages members to develop fully unique characters.

AI Generated Content

This community has a zero-tolerance policy for AI-generated profiles or content. This includes characters or personas created with programs such as Character.AI, Replika, or ChatGPT. Any art, writing, edits, or posts made with AI and presented as original without disclosure will also be removed.AI-generated content is not allowed in any form. This applies to profile themes (icons, backgrounds, galleries), art, writing, edits, and chatroom designs (backgrounds or covers). Even if only part of the work is AI generated, it is still not allowed. If you are found using AI-generated content, you will be asked to remove or change it. Staff reserve the right to delete AI content or hide accounts that appear to be AI-generated, regardless of intent. If you are unsure whether something counts as AI use, it is best to avoid it entirely or PM a Leader or Curator for help. AI-generated content undermines the personal, creative, and safe environment that this community strives to maintain, and it will not be permitted here.
